How and why.

In the early 1980's my father brought  a Tamiya Grasshopper back from Singapore. This simple RC kit became the foundation piece for a lifetime of RC car racing and later collecting.

Fast forward to 2017 and a new property purchase has allowed my dream to become a reality, a 1/10th electric dirt RC track and shop.

The track set in the beautiful Manawatu area just 6 minutes drive from Palmerston North surrounded by park like surrounding is a testament to hard work and determination. It is a old styled flat track with hard soil making a unique natural terrain course to test new and experienced drivers.

Inside our 240sqm workshop lies a shop stocked with Traxxas and PR Racing RC gear with a plethora of vintage and modern cars lining the shelves. We can service and repair most brands of RC cars and have the We Cut Shapes equipment available for that custom or repair job for hard to find parts. To help you into a modern RC car we can trade your existing RC equipment to assist your purchase.

We are the New Zealand agent for PR Racing cars, and use Traxxas New Zealand for our Traxxas models. We hold spares for all our stocked lines and can help you tune up your models.

Our track is fitted with I-Race Lap Timing and will be online shortly for all test days. We have I-Race transponders available for hire or purchase, and use ALYCAT software for our race meetings.
